· Mezzo-soprano with extensive professional experience as an opera principal and concert soloist, available for performance · Teacher of singing and music theory with more than 20 years experience · Lecturer in Music and published musicologist.
My studio is in Earlwood, an inner-western suburb of Sydney, Australia. Singing students are welcome from beginner to advanced. Students have been successfully prepared for AMEB, HSC and tertiary examinations, and for auditions. I teach singing technique and repertoire from early music to twentieth centuries in song, opera, oratorio and music theatre. I also teach music theory. I perform both as a soloist, and as part of a duo with pianist Maryleigh Hand. For more information on this duo, please go to Dunstone & Hand Duo on the navigation bar.

Pianist Maryleigh Hand and I performed in Adelaide recently at the Conference of Accompanists & Associate Artists. We presented Fünfzehn Gedichte aus ‘Das Buch der hängenden Gärten’ by Schoenberg. Schoenberg’s Fünfzehn Gedichte aus ‘Das Buch der hängenden Gärten’ were composed in 1908. The work is atonal, but predates his twelve-tone method of composition. For more information regarding performance by this duo, please go to ‘Dunstone & Hand Duo’ on the navigation bar. The conference was fortunate to have the acclaimed pianist Malcolm Martineau as Musician in Residence. Mr. Martineau gave master classes with students of singing & piano and performed several times, including in the concluding recital, given by bass-baritone Jonathon Lemalu. In October, I will be performing as a soloist in the Mozart Requiem with Wesley Institute’s Choir. Other soloists will include baritone David Brennan.
