This year, Prudence Dunstone and Maryleigh Hand performed two recitals: ¨ ‘Robert, Clara and Johannes: Love and Friendship’, on Sunday 26th August, at St John’s Anglican Church, Darlinghurst, NSW. This recital featured the music of Robert and Clara Schumann, and Johannes Brahms. The recital was part of the inaugural concert series, The Music Project. ¨ ‘Sweeter than Roses—A Musical Bouquet’ on Sunday September 18th, at St John’s Uniting Church, Neutral Bay. The program featured songs and piano works by English, French, German and Spanish composers, from the Baroque to the Twentieth Century. All proceeds went to ‘Act for Peace’, the international aid agency of the National Council of Churches in Australia.
